Bertie's Hut is our first Shepherds hut here at Smithyfields, this little hut is handmade by local craftsman and offers guests a cosy romantic retreat with wonderful views across the open countryside.

Our little hut features a full size double bed, kitchenette with cooking facilities, fridge and seating with dining area offering views over the valley. Theres also WIFI, TV and a log burner to relax by after a long day exploring the Peaks.  The hut sits in a private walled garden, with outdoor seating on a decked area, as-well as firepit with additional seating and gas BBQ.

Guests use our warm site facilities located only 20 yards away.

Bertie's Shepherd's hut is situated in the Croft, a private area of the site reserved for our 2 huts. Private parking is provided less than 10 yards from the Hut.
